What we treat

Once the plan is finalised, small tooth-coloured composite attachments are bonded to specific teeth. Dr. Zaghi will tell you at the consultation which of the two your case actually needs.

No. We use an iTero optical scanner, which takes a few minutes and produces a far more accurate map of your teeth than a mould. If you have a sensitive gag reflex, this is usually the part of the process people are most relieved about.
It depends on how far the teeth need to move, and Dr. Zaghi will give you an estimate from your ClinCheck plan at the consultation. Trays need to be worn about 22 hours a day. Most patients also go through a refinement phase at the end, which is normal and is planned for.
The attachments are small and tooth-coloured, and most patients are relieved to find they are barely noticeable in conversation. They are only fitted to the teeth that need them, and they come off at the end of treatment.
Teeth drift back towards where they started if nothing holds them, so retention is part of the treatment rather than an optional extra. Dr. Zaghi fits Vivera retainers, the Invisalign retention system, to hold the corrected position.
