We slow down. The first visit can be nothing more than sitting in the chair and having their teeth counted. Nothing is forced, and we explain each step before it happens. Santa Clarita parents are welcome to stay alongside throughout.
They do. Baby teeth hold the space for the adult teeth behind them and guide them into position. Losing one early to decay lets the neighbours drift into the gap, which is a common route into orthodontic problems later.

If your policy lets you pick your own dentist, you can almost certainly use it at our Newhall office, and we will file the claim for you so your insurer reimburses you directly. Children's preventive care, cleanings, fluoride and sealants, is well covered under most plans.
